Saturn and REGISTAX

Hi iI am trying to stack images of saturn on registax. How ever registax "keeps freezing" when it gets to 49% allign. Any ideas how i can get this to 100%. I have 106 frames

I did process other data of saturn (120 frames) from the same night successfully, I am using a canon 450d camera on a  8"sct 

Any ideas would be appreciated

Maybe memory issues. If your images have a high pixel count, it is best to run the data through PIPP to crop the data and feed only the relevant bits to Registax (or AS!2 for that matter)

PIPP should be able to crop the individual images down to a manageable size.

Cheers for those ideas trying them both out now. First time i have used AS!2 so maybe a while before you see image

+1 for PIPP. I had similar issues and it resolved them.

Its a start, and i think its defiantly Saturn

Taken with 8"SCT at f10 with 3*barlow with a canon 450d dslr camera. 160 frames stacked

Next time more frames? and shorter exposures?
