Hi', Chap's,

I'm very pleased to announce that I am the new owner of the OTA !

and.......It was indeed sold for £80 (£90 p&p).

Within a few minutes of the ad being posted I emailed the chap - and got confirmation soon afterwards that it was mine as I had "got in there first".

Incidentally -I was looking out for an 80mm so I decided to have the ABAS site as my homepage and - using the "refresher" software I set the page to refresh every 5 mins. - lo' and behold this came on !!

The 80ED is a fine scope. Here is to clear skies. What was the story with being so cheap? I don't need one but would have bought it anyway at that price :-)

I'll be using it with my 300D so if anyone knows of a selection of deep sky images I'd be very grateful.
