Full sphere with DSLR - How far you can push a little camera?

There was this crazy idea to image full sun sphere in Ha with a DSLR. I must note though that it’s not very feasible without a modified DSLR. However with deeply altered one it actually becomes a good idea. This little camera has ability to surprice me again and again
