Heratige 130P owners solutions for raising to eye level.

Can members who have a Heritage 130P dob show me their solutions to getting the focuser to or near eye level.

The 130P is a great little scope for my son but is so impractical in use out in the field. All great if you have a patio table to hand but most tables that are for camping and so portable and dew proof lack greatly in the rigidity department.

When I had my Heritage 130P I used one of these tables from Ikea to get it to a comfortable height when sitting on a chair...

Very sturdy and the legs can be taken off and on in a couple of minutes for packing away.

I bought two so that I had the option of stacking them and using the scope standing up.

Thanks Derek that looks a winner and if the legs are detachable too that will make it easy to transport. Looks like the timing of the sale couldn't be better either

I use mine sat on an upturned bucket as a round bucket will find reasonable level I find where as I find 4 legs doesn't always.
