M42 in Black & White.

Unguided 20x60s subs and 15 darks stacked in DSS and processed in Startools and PS.

Thought I'd have a go at greyscale rather than colour. I'm reasonably pleased with the result.

Very nice image. It's unusual to see a mono shot, but I like it.

That's a stellar result in greyscale ,  you had that PA spot on. I sure do wish this wind would die down . I've finally got my guiding with phd down and I'm ready to shoot longer than 20 s without trailing stars.
