Skywatcher startravel 120 for narrowband?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had any experience using achro's for narrowband? I've read a few topics and although it seems possible eliminating the ca other optical issues are still present.

I've been offered a startravel for what I think is very fair price but as I do nothing but narrowband maybe it's not the right path to go down. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Yeah that's pretty much what I do (or rather did).

All it means is that you have to refocus between filters, which would be prudent and required in any case. The only other issue that I found was that the to users were poorer than the scopes that had imaging in mind when they were developed.
