Comet Catalina and Kemble's Cascade

Here's my first ever DSO two pane mosaic.  20 x 300 sec exposures with astro-modified Canon 1100D through Revelation 66mm Apo with 0.8 focal reducer.

I shot the subs at ISO 100 in an effort to help preserve star colour.  I think if I had also shot some additional 30 second or 60 second subs at ISO 100 I might have had more luck preserving the star colour in the cascade.

Yes - and that separates this image from the many. A very nice touch! Subtle yet alive.

I hope you continue in this fashion. I think you're truly on to something!
