ISS Pass 10th February 2016

Recommended Posts

At last, a clear night yesterday. Not necessarily the best transparency ever, but it was just a relief to see the stars again and hear the whirring motors of my HEQ5! While that was doing its stuff, I put the Canon 1Dx on a tripod with a 15mm lens on and pointed it up at the sky in readiness for Tim Peake to fly past. However, I didn't really get my bearings quite right and the damn thing went way overhead and over my house, so I haven't managed to get the whole pass in. Next time... What I do like is the fainter satellite that made its mark too!
