Last nights moon - 18.01.16

Despite poor visibility the seeing conditions were not too bad so after a viewing session I hooked up my trusty ASI120MC to my C8 and had a crack at some favourite targets.
 
After reading this month’s S@N magazine article on imaging Plato I thought I would have a go but sadly I did not manage to capture much detail inside the crater:

Nice one - the Moon was really hazy here but hoping for a bit clearer tonight.

Yes will be out tonight, even though it will be -2C..

The moon will be in an awkward position for me to image so will be practising and testing my new PHD v2.5.0 setup...I know how to have fun...
