Very nicely captured the central peaks is showing very well and i like the way its shadow is being cast on the inside wall of the crater.

What do you mean by details? Like brightness and contrast settings and what not? To be honest I do not remember, its usually more of a fine tuning while it's on the screen, and the seeing you are working with at the time

More than likely an issue with the Logitech c310 webcam, it was not the greatest hardware to be honest. It had some weird coloring issues and has since been replaced with the spc900nc, which has a much lower resolution than the c310 but it has far a superior CCD inside. I will have to revisit the area with the new webcam and compare images
