iwols Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 hi guys i know this is nothing special at all but for me setting my mount up with a 150-500m lens on my nikon and telling the mount to point here and it did is a big thing for me ,any way, no stacking ,large crop,quick tickle in light room, low iso single shot,no nothing really,just wanted to get the mount aligned really.critz very welcome,but be careful cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

laudropb Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Very nice start. Mag 11 means magnitude 11. This is a measure of the brightness of celestial objects. The lower the magnitude the brighter the object. The visual limit is usually given as mag 6. Anything with a higher mag needs optics to view it.
