How do i configure Stellarium to my location?

It would be interesting to see if you could run the Linux version of Stellarium in Ubuntu or other distro flavour when running a Linux image on a Windows computer from a CD/DVD optical drive. I've actually done this as the first thing I do when testing a new distro is to see if Stellarium runs on it.

Just had a thought, it could be a Windows 10 problem, i recently installed it on my laptop, just reading through things to see if i can find a possible solution.

I think Win 10 is still a bit beta personally.

I've sorted it  . I uninstalled the one i had on and searched for a Windows 10 version, working fine now, i have all the toolbars and icons that i should have, i've just set my co-ordinates and location!
