Planets with Meade AR6-AT

Ive recently aquired a Meade AR6-AT on a LXD55 mount, Has anyone used one of these on the planets?, What can I expect?

 I will be using a SPC900 webcam.(do I need to use a barlow?).

I took a shot of the moon last night, and the CA was very minimal!

Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated!.

Hello James, welcome to SGL.  The AR6 should give satisfactory planetary images with a webcam, you will most likely need a Barlow to get sufficient image scale even with a small chip webcam. All good practice for a better setup in the future.

A 6" achro can deliver good results with enough detail to keep one satisfied.  Have fun!
