Star Adventurer: can't guide - ST4 cable?

That's a good pic Dave - I'd be dead happy with that. I just got the SA recently and not had chance to try it yet. But I'd like to ask how you are powering it? I'm sure the batteries will be ok for a while - but I'm interested to know if anyone has tried the USB power option at all and what was used, how reliable is it?

I've used ordinary batteries, rechargeables and the USB on my power pack, all work equally well, a set of Duracells last for ages.

Thanks Dave - it sounds like "either/or" so I'll try both. Probably stick with usb just to reduce the mount weight and allow a bit more for other accessories. Ta for the advice.
