Indian Summer imaging : 4 fave PNe + 4 new-to-me OC

The UK Indian Summer of cloudless days [and nights] continues so between dusk and moonrise ~ 9PM got time on 4 favorite summer PNe in M27 Dumbbell [Vul]/ M57 Ring [Lyr]/ NGC 6781 [Aql]  and exquisite NGC 40 [bowtie] in Cep - full data on images.  N40 emits almost entirely in red H-alpha which makes it special ;-)   Of the OCs M52 is the best as expected but the others are interesting in their different density etc. 

Used the SX Lodestar-Cx2 OSC is prime imager on my obsy Classic Meade 30cm SCT @ f/3.3.  LP here in London = typical poor skies with 'W' of Cas barely visible to the eye last night but my scope + cam combo punches through the muck in double quick time for very pleasing results. Results much better than eyeballing under 'perfect' dark conditions but each to his own ;-)
