Need for a Wikipedia Article

I put 'video astronomy' into Wikipedia and got redirected to the vaguely related but very different (to me) topic of 'speckle imaging' which is all about reconstructing the airy discs of stars, not viewing faint DSOs in real time.

I put a comment in the talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Speckle_imaging

Perhaps knowledgable members of this topic might want to (re)create a Video Astronomy article?

Never a great fan of Wiki for a few reasons, but that takes home a prize! :rolleyes2:

Now I'm tempted to write one myself - before some YeeHaw! comes along and writes about using your Micron to study astrological-signs when the Moon is in Uranus.

Nothing surprises me anymore.....

Dave

UPDATE: I did a minor clarification. Hope you don't mind:

I've created a short and probably highly inaccurate article as others may not know how to remove a wikipedia redirect.

It needs tidy up and probably better references (I put some in as that's a major protection against rapid deletion, some editors will see a new unreferenced article and assume its all made up).

So anyione who can tidy it up, it's here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_astronomy
