M8 & M20 Lagoon & Triffid - mono

I tried a single 600s sub on these targets and the result with a DSLR was a non-recoverable image in terms of a colour balance (red channel too overexposed). So I present the image in mono format!

M8 & M20 Sagittarius- 600s, GSO 6" Newtonian @ F2.9, Fuji IS Pro DSLR @ ISO800

Nowt wrong with mono mate! Actually, it helps you get a better grip on the noise.

Have you thought about using NB filters with your camera? Recently ive seen some cracking shots with DSLRs and NB filters, it would probably help with the colour balance too being as youre balancing manually when you mix the Ha/OIII channels.
