As I explained in an earlier thread I booted my tripod the other night and most of the subsequent images were a tad off centre to say the least. Quite pretty star fields but not a view of the intended object.

I thought I'd post this one of the Whirlpool as a example of a 'could have been a goodun' that went wrong.

Don't know which way up it should be so will post top and bottom views.
