Bright meteor 00.34

Anyone just see a bright meteor heading down through Pisces, don't know if  it was a Persied.

Alas, no. I came inside after around 00:05

I had no luck with meteors, mixture of sky glow, street lamp glare and a distracting cat!

Never the less, my neck still hurts...

Didn't see that one Dave, but did see one through Cygnus leaving a trail. Appeared to be coming from the right direction.

Does this help you tell? Was it heading through Pisces in this direction?

Yes think so, came from the bottom left of Pegasus so I'm counting it as my first Perseid

Seen a couple at 02:00, but then the clouds rolled in.

Was out last night, saw two going east-west about level with Polaris. One was quite long, about the length of the bottom of the Plough 'pan'.

Saw two tonight as well, but both were a lot shorter. Wife saw one that I didn't, so am calling that 5 Perseids.

I hope the sky's clear for Tuesday (is it - think that's the peak night?).
