One eye to the EP. What do you do with the other?

My 3-year-old niece wanted a look at my scope a couple of weeks ago. She just couldn't work out how to get both her eyes to the eyepiece - so my eyepiece needed a thorough clean to remove where her nose had been !!

Sorry, off topic, but seemed a good place to share what was a rather funny few moments

Wot i have done is used an old pair of large sunglasses,with one lense

removed .It works for me .Putting some tape over the lense makes it

even darker.

I've always been able to work my eyes fairly independently, except The Simpsons' diverging eyes trick! So I just close one lid. I can keep that up for hours!
