The Astronomy Centre will be hosting an event in support of International Solar SUNday on June 21st from noon onwards. A wide range of white light and Ha equipment will be available and the event will expand into night time viewing if clear. Entry is free and open to all.

Our astronomical institute in Groningen, the Netherlands will also host an event on the International SUNday at the Infoversum in Groningen.

My local society, the Lancaster and Morecambe Astronomical Society will be running a solar viewing event in Lancaster's Williamson's Park.

I shall be hosting my annual Central London SUNday event as part of  International Solar SUNday on June 21 from 10:00 until 15:00 at Hanover Gate, Regent's Park.

This is the third year of the event. Last year many of you would have seen coverage on TV when the 'Sky at Night' team visited. There will be many white light and H-alpha solar scopes there.

The event is free and family friendly. Many bring a picnic. Please come if you are in the area.
