Just picked one up for a nice price, I was wondering what adhesive pads would be suitable for reattaching a telrad base? Also i was having some trouble with my hacked together green laser sight finding something appropriate to attach the picatinny rail, not really wanting to drill into the tube to be honest, what about the hot glue gun would that be sufficient?

I've used a foam media double back tape that alone will hold a router to a cement wall , and then be hard to remove. Sure that would do.

I used double sided tape and it works fine...

Double sided tape..£1 in poundland,i use it on my scopes and doesnt budge,even with a fair bit of force.

I used double sided number plate holders I noticed they are the same as the telrads.Most car parts shops sell them or eBay of course.

so finally got an opportunity to get out with the scope, Didn't get round to attaching the telrad so used the sw finder. Saturn was a nice sight, but really the limitations of my mount were clearly evident. So next month its sell the 130mm/ eq1 and eq3-2  and buy an eq5.

"Mamouth Power Grip" double sided tape from your local B&Q store. But be warned - it's permanent - so you have to get it right first time.
