where in the UK Is best for viewing

It would, because of circumstance, not be for me regretfully, but for some of you younger guys into imaging, I am sure there will be some B&B with the usual Irish hospitality in the locality, as it is quite a large area

we would camp rough as usual

I missed the program, but my Wife drew my attention to it, so I had a peek around. Taking into account the expense and distances round the World you could to travel to visit these famous dark sites, low and behold we end up with the 3rd darkest venue, vurtually on our doorstep, can`t be bad

Well theres a funny thing. I was going to start a thread on best dark sky site for your buck/euro/pound. Look like that's the answer.
