Xplode
A couple nights ago i got a few lights on the Leo triplet before clouds ruined the rest of the night.16x300s @ ISO 1600 with Canon 6Da through 8" f/5 newtonian.Corners have some problem after a meridian flip where i didn't recenter 100% and it looks like collimation is a little out tooNot happy with the image as a whole, but at least the galaxies looks good and the noise isn't too bad taking into account that this is just over 1 hour in warmer than usual temperatures. Xplode
again great job, and only an hour worth of dataThank you.I was surprised at how good it ended up with the short amount of data.I think it makes a nice difference that it's much darker now than during winter, SQM at my observatory is around 21.15 at the best, but during winter it's around 20.7Looking at the area around NGC3628 i see a very faint small part of the tidal wave.Really hoping i can get some more data on this before season ends and maybe even with the new scope if it's finished soon.
