Thats a great attempt Chaos and just think if you get more frames to stack the image will be even better.

Thats a great go M31. You've got the dust lanes and satallite galaxies no problems. As James said, just imagine what it would be like if you stacked a couple dozen of those. :sunny:

Thanks for the encouragement. I was a bit miffed that it looked nowt like the Google images I've seen. I might even be able to improve on these when the telescope comes.

If its clear tonight I intend to sort out the guiding and get more frames to stack, as if you look closely the stars are trailed a bit. The speed was a bit too high as I found out when I did some more shots that didn't come out nearly as well. :lol: :lol:
