collimation

Unlikley it would need collimating unless its taken a serious whack.

Maksutovs are generally very hardy scopes.  Collimation is a headache and best left alone unless you really, REALLY think its out of whack.

There is a procedure here http://www.robincasady.com/Astro/collimation/ but I cant say how it works as I have never done it.

I've never had a mak, just read some collimations guides, here's some guides might be useful:

Looks like you should first make sure that it's out of collimation, then do the collimation depeding how the collimating screws are supposed to work.
