Deep sky stacker

Hi all

Just been trying dss with some subs I've taken now I read a few tutorials on basic settings and such but after the files have stacked I only get a thin strip of the image in the middle of the viewing screen bit after! Any ideas thanks in advance

You need to download the latest version the thin strip is your DSLR RAW files are not supported, Ver 3.3.4 should work....

I found AS!2 gave better results than DSS - may be worth a look

Depends what you are stacking. DSO files then DSS is best, planetary AVI files then AS2 is the tool.

I have this same problem stacking .CR2 RAW files for Canon.  I was just about to post and ask what I was doing wrong.  I've been converting to .TIF to get it to work.  I'm using version 3.3.2, I'll give the newer version a try.
