sbooder
One of these little beauties has just come up on the French leboncoin selling site. It is a Edmund Satellite Telescope made for the Moonwatch Project after Sputnik was launched.I have always wanted one but it is a little pricey for me.Not sure if this link can be viewed outside France but some of you may have a VPN for France, so... here it is. Ant
Perfectly viewable from here Does seem pricey to me, but I'm about as far away from an expert i these things as you can get!Ant
sbooder
Oh good. I was hoping you could all see it. They were made in quite large numbers so I am not sure the seller is being totally up front when he says it is rare. But I am still tempted.Cracking pic below of them in use during Moowatch
Peter Drew
Not difficult to make your own, I've made several similar ones for use with camera obscuras.

Peter Drew
I fully understand that. Apogee made similar ones of 5" aperture for monitoring early American satellite observations.
