dark images and master darks

Hi folks

If you build up a library of dark files, is it the resultant 'master darks' for various settings that are retained after running DSS or are the individual dark files used as the basis of input to DSS for use with future light files?

The master darks. These are a combination of the individual dark files so you just have to keep the different masters for future use.

But when loading dark files into DSS, do you simply load the master dark?

Yes, once you have your master (or masters) use them instead of the individual

Remember they will need to be temperature (well, as close as possible) and duration matched to the lights.
