Great couple of hours outside last night with the Moore Winter Marathon

I sat outside with my binoculars and Moore Winter Marathon print-outs bound together with treasury tags, and enjoyed myself thoroughly.  Found about 23 out of the 25 naked eye / binocular targets, those I didn't see where washed out by light pollution close to the horizon.

Might just give the telescope targets a go if it's clear in the next few weeks.  Certainly takes the stress out of trying to work out what to see, just work through the list at my own pace.

Nice. I'm on holiday under dark skies and saw M1 for the first time. Darn it's faint!

Nice collection of objects on that list - I've not come across it before. Some of the southerlies would be a bit challenging with my bins!
