Personal Space Telescopes

With the recent and ever increasing popularity of and price dropping of these small cube satellites, how far away are we from being able to, for 35k'ish, have our own remote space telescopes? I think it might be closer than anybody thinks. A small scope with a gyroscope, a tiny Linux based computer, and a transmitter/receiver is all at would take (yes I understand it's more complicated, but not much).

regardless of how difficult the mechanics of it may be, I'd think the beurocracy may well may it unattainable.

Nasa "So Mr cirle, why do you want to contribute to the already excessive amount of space junk?"

You   "I want to take pretty pictures"

Nasa "Good-bye Mr Circle"
