NEQ6 power cable

Hello all.

If so how do you get a fuse in to protect the mounts electronics.

The Cigarette connector has a fuse built in, if you want a in-line fuse then one of these connectors use with the Cigarette connectors would work....

I'm trying to avoid the cigarette connection as I read somewhere that these can cause connection issues?

If this isn't the case then I'll go with the cigarette connection with the built in fuse.

I use the supplied cigarette lighter cable that came with my NEQ6 with no issues

What you need is a "2.1mm dc plug right angle pre wired"

The right angle plug is less easy yank out. Being pre-wired avoids any tricky assembly. Plus it's cheap!

If you are not going to use a fused cigarette plug then you could get an "inline fuse holder", something like one of these:
