New scope

Hi all,

Just bought a SW 127 mak AZ as a  grab n go (and probably for doing some lunar sketching).  Ordered on Monday evening and delivered by FLO on Wednesday. My 250px is a grab n go too, but only when I'm on my own. This little one I will just stick in the boot when I have the wife and dogs with me. It looks nice, but of course it's been cloudy since arriving so can't tell you what it's like to use!

what a nice scope times have changed so much, when a 5" aperture is "grab n go" i can remember thinking my 4 1/2" Tasco newt was massive!

Pete - I know what you mean. As a kid I thought my 60mm frac was impressive - although I also really want a 4" reflector! Those were the days when I lived in a village with no light pollution, so probably saw as much through my 60mm frac as I do with the 250px now.
