Issues connecting Stellariumscope to NEQ6 mount

Hi can anyone help

During polar alignment tonight my mount made the tale tell sounds that I'd moved the power lead and eqmod stellariumscope  had crashed

Having had this issue before,  I turned off power to mount discontent the usb into the Hitecastro eqmod hub and reconnected power and plug in the hub but it appears the mount can't connect too eqmod

List of things I've now done before placing this thread

1 The usual,, unplug usb and power up again after rebooting laptop

2 change the usb port and usb cable the mount is connected too

3 change the usb hub

4 removed all unused ports so when plunging in usb eqmod allocates a new port for the hub and mount.

5 uninsulated Ascom platform stellariumscope and all eqmod software

6 re insulated all the above software again

7 check that other items Atik, auto focuser etc speaking to laptop

When i try and connect stellariumscope to  allocated port number,  the small Ascom box come up for about 3 or 4 seconds but is whiten out it as if its trying to connect to the mount

POSSIBLE OUTCOME

the power fluctuation has screwed the electronic in the mount

The Hitecastro USB EQ mount direct has a fault ( but i do still get the ding bell when connecting this to the laptop and when I disconnected the lead as well)

Please can anyone help

Thanks
