Improved M57 using Lodestar

Having had problems with severe coma imaging M57 using the F3.3 reducer, I thought I'd try again with F6.3 and got much better results.

The following using 6x30 secs stacked with 4x30 sec darks:

I did a quick sharpen in Photoshop afterwards to see how much detail was there and was quite pleased with the result:

The Lodestar is amazing - I can now observe from my driveway even though I have this in one direction....

Smashing result there Rob. Its amazing to see the extra raft of detail come out from the sharpen operation. At some point in the future I'll have to investigate a sharpen tool to add to LL given what I have seen here!

Excellent Rob!  The F6.3 gives a much better FOV for M57.  Much less sensitive to coma as well.  These Lodestars are amazing.  I'm trying to get some Hicksons tonight using the same setup you have.  Looks like clouds moving in though.  Will probably have to pack in in for the night.  I think we're 10 hours behind you guys.
