finder diagonal

Hi guys i managed to almost twist my head off tryin to see through the finder scope on my 200 dob. I contemplated a raci finder scope, however they seem a bit pricey. Is there any way to buy a diagonal to attach to my finder to make viewing easier?

You would have to slice a good chunk off the length of a straight through finder before you fit a diagonal to it. The diagonal uses up quite a bit of the light path you see. I guess it could be done but it might end up a bit messy. There is not a "conversion kit" for this reason.

A camera right angled viewfinder would work i use it on my polarscope (same optics as a finder) but not realy a cheap option unless you have one knocking around.

I had an old finder that i made into an RA finder,as John says i had to shorten the tube to bring it to focus.

It done the job,why dont you sell the finder you have and put a little towards a RA finder.
