WO "L-Type Mount"

Hi

This might sound like a very stupid question but here goes!

I'm almost certainly about to buy a WO GT81 for astrophotography purposes.  The scope comes with an "L-Type Mount".  I have an NEQ6.  Do I need to get some sort of bracket / converter to make it Losmunday / VIxen (and thus compatable with NEQ6) or does "L-Type Mount" actually mean Losmandy and the scope can thus be attached directly to the mount?

Thanks

Brian

I think you will need a pair of tube rings and a dovetail plate (in either Losmandy or Vx size depending on your mount). http://www.firstlightoptics.com/tube-rings/william-optics-90mm-cnc-tube-rings.html are the sort of rings one would normally use. It may be possible to attach the 'L' foot to a plate directly, if you can find a suitable with the correct hole spacing for it (or drill and tap it).
