That really did come from nowhere, I think the base is slightly over the suns limb. It's not huge but the area seems active

We have a huge band of cloud here at the moment but I can see blue sky yonder so hopefully I will catch the 7 O'clock prom

It's died a death now pig, vanished just as quick as it appeared. Clouds over now

I'm able to join in now: clouds lifted a bit to give me a good few minutes and I can see why everybody's having a great time!

Nice activity on the limbs - whichever way your clock is turned(!). Huge proms on the northeast and east and a nice complicated one on the south. Plenty of 'surface' details, too.

But it's clouding over again ...

Just had chance to view a tiny surge rising from the same active area, but clouds are really getting in the way now. Time too pack up now, had a really good day today.

If the 50mm is anything like the 60mm Skem you are in for a treat  10mm isn't a great deal
