Lunar Eclipse Shots 02/20

I didn't get the barlow lens in time for my scope and my t-ring adapter isn't focusing so i took these shots with my d40 and a 200mm lens.. not too bad but i was hoping to use my new scope for this

That's a great shot and proves very convincingly that you don't need a telescope to do astro-photography!

Really great image with good colour on the Moon. Checked out the link as well and I particularly like the early stage shot.

Not detracting in any way from the quality of the images but if the star you labeled as Regulus is correct and I think it is,then the one shown as Saturn is below the Moon and in the wrong place. A quick check with Starry Night comfirmed this and also that the third star labeled is probably 31 leo not 3. (did you miss the 1 off) Thought you were right in suggesting Saturn should be in frame somewhere though so increased the contrast of the background and circled the best candidate. Of course not knowing the time of the exposure I may be completely wrong........It has been known! Anyhow,It made for an interesting lunch-break.
