Seen this camera

I saw this camera whilst browsing the web and wondered how it would perform for VA. Anyone used one or have any ideas if they would even work for VA. Probably work okay.  I use one of the board cameras (1004) using the same chip for an 'All Sky' camera.

Hi beamer, I think everyone that as bought these camera's have gone for the MC300-11673 the 700 line version, slightly higher resolution  and I'm not to sure if it has a better microprocess rj11 as some of them have rj10

 

for another 30$ to 40$ more you can go for the mallincam ex which as been tweaked for astro or the AVS version.

When ordering state which format you want i.e Pal.. Also if you decide to buy from alliexpress you can ask them to remove the IR filter as this is not suited for our needs.

Go for the mallincam version. .its had the interals modded as johnno advised
