Moon - DSLR - with a differerence

My first post so forgive me. Moon shot taken tonight.

Equipment -

William optics ZS80 scope + Samsung GX-1L DSLR + 2 tripods + Tamron F system 2X (7element) teleconverter + 28mm lens + Hoya Pro UV filter + Baader 17mm Hyperion eyepiece. 5 images stacked in registax

Thanks, been lurking for a while.

I stacked the images first in Registax without resizing and then resized the saved image in Photoshop CS2. The originals were 3000 pixels wide but registax managed it ok. Once resized to 800 pixels wide in Photoshop I then applied a little 'Smart Sharpen' to bring out more of the detail.

I normally use my set up for taking bird photos during the day but I also enjoy looking at the night sky. Using my Photoshop settings to bring out the detail in birds feathers helps a bit I think to get the detail in the moon.
