Hi, Yukscore, and a warm welcome to SGL! If you haven't done already I can recommend downloading the free planetarium software 'Stellarium' which is used by many on here to not only locate objects but also plan for a viewing session. It is customisable for lcoation and individual scopes - giving you an idea to what you should see through your eyepiece. Downloadable here: http://stellarium.org/

Yukscore, my first scope was a 130P as well, don't get disappointed if the views through the supplied 10mm eyepiece aren't great I found mine wasn't very good so it was first on my list to upgrade

The supplied 25mm eyepiece is nice though and you will probably use that a lot at first while you learn your way around.
