There may be problems with running usb cables next to mains cables, screening will be a must have.....

Lots of reports in the media lately about house fires being caused by cheap non oem chargers for electronic devices (phones, tablets etc).  If these things carry the necessary EU/UK certification which I presume them must do then they are indeed a good idea.  May well become standard fit in new builds - until the IT world change the standard - again.
