Nice general obs session

Today was a fantastic clear day and the conditions carried into this evening.Did a little planetary,couple of galaxies and one great cluster.M13 turned out to be great from my home tonight,wth the 8mm and 6mm Delos-these things are very good for clusters,it looked just like Qualia's name for it,the spider plant cluster.

Mars was very good in the dob,taking 300x + and showing the usual features,over to Saturn,the Cassinni div easily seen,some planet shadings and at one point counted 6 moons-the Tak ortho came through for that nicely.

M51 showed remarably well for such bright skies and the Leo triplet presented the 2 brighter members glowing away,but the faint one was much tougher...just a hint.That 18mmBCO sure helps pull out these objects.

All in all tonight was just a fun,relaxing sky cruise,it sure felt good to get out again
