Autoguider options

Either will work fine. But I would cast my vote for a finderguider. Reason being because you dont have to go out and buy an OAG and you have a pretty short focal length that would work just fine with a findreguider.

I use a Finder Guider is left set-up with the scope on a permanent pier, what you would need to do it check the OAG and DSLR have enough inward travel to allow for focusing but once set-up they are generally better than the Finder Guider.....just depends how deep into imagine you want to go...:)

I'd give the finder option a go and see how you get on before spending any cash. I use an ST80 guide scope piggy backed on my 200 mm newt for dslr imaging, but an lag for ccd work as it's built into my ccd camera. It's easier to find a good guide star with the ST 80, but more hassle to get everything set up.
