Full Moon Extreme DSO's

Inspired by this this thread in the Video section I went on the hunt for a distant galaxy cluster next to the bright Needle Galaxy NGC4565 in Coma Berenices. The cluster is a chain of four Magnitude 17.5 - 18.2 galaxies some 2 BILLION LY away.

Using a Lodestar x2 camera and 10" F4 scope I managed to capture photons from these uber distant galaxies with a single 25 second sub, from a light polluted back garden and under a FULL MOON.

Barely legible smudges I know - but these objects are a long way out! This little camera continues to amaze.

I've just received a Lodestar X2 and looking forward to trying it out :)  Apologies for spoiling the little run of clear night skies!
