I think it might be a light leak between your iPhone and the eyepiece. I currently use a cellphone myself and even with an adapter, it's difficult to get a good fit.

Also, is it possible that your flash went off. I always keep the flash off and trigger the phone cam by voice control. -- Dave

That bottom image almost looks like a double image. Some sort of reflection?

The flash didn't go off and I doubt a light leak as I use an adapter I made myself . I did notice something moving near mars with my plain eye like a moving star almost

If you could see something moving with the naked eye and it was obviously moving, could be a satellite.

its a ghosting in your EP.If you look at last image you can see that top part of image is exactly the same as the bottom one.

Happens on bright objects. No UFO`s here

Somehow I do not believe you would get either Phobos or Deimos with that setup.

Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure either but I am waiting the arrival of my new telescope hubby ordered for me which I have no idea what it is other than a bigger aperture.
