Jupiter-Venus conjunction

Hi all,

This was a tough one as I've got a stinker of a cold at the moment and heading down to the beach at half past six on a cold morning took a bit of effort (all together aaaahhhhh).

Jupiter and Venus meeting in the dawn sky from Selsey lifeboat station...

There's dedication for you Pete and a nice result too I like the composition with the foreground of the pier giving the image depth

Last conjunction I photographed was of Jupiter, Mars and Mercury. I walked to the top of a local hill with my daughter and got a shot of it then we watched the sunrise together. It was the first time my daughter had seen the sunrise complete and it made for a very memorable day. The conjunction was quite low and Mars was lost in some thin cloud and the light from the sunrise.
