which eyepiece to choose

I  can not decide which would be the better eyepiece for general stargazing in my 200p Explorer the Antares 40mm plossl,

or the Celestron 32mm plossl. I am tending towards the latter after reading what Robin at Swindon stargazers had to say

about the Celestron, but I would welcome other opinions. Thanks in advance.

Clear skies to all. ( the scope is outside cooling, and the sky looks good)

I'd go for the 32mm. Because of the limitations of 1.25" eyepiece, the 40mm and 32mm will have the same field of view.

Generally the 32mm Plössl is a nice, sharp, low power eyepiece.
