The MIGHTY.... ORION ATLAS EQ-G GO TO MOUNT.....

I have owned a few GO TO MOUNTS and Frankly.... They were more trouble than you could imagine... HOWEVER.... The ORION ATLAS EQ-G MOUNT....This Beast CONSISTENTLY puts the Objects right in the Eyepiece...It is a pleasure to use....and the sound that it makes while slewing actually is music to my ears...I have gotten so many compliments on this MOUNT....ORION has made a GREAT MOUNT that has made this Astronomer a very happy camper.....!

Atlas = NEQ6 an Sirius = HEQ5Pro.

Both Synta mounts rebadged Orion from Skywatcher for the US market.

It's always good to hear that someone else has obviously read the manual and can get consistent Go-To accuracy from the Synscan system .... 

Makes a very pleasant change indeed ....

hello all I have two of these mounts in my observatory. I agree these mounts are the cats meow ..one of the best astro values out there today.
